Journey to the "Coded Threads: Textile and Technology" exhibit in the Western Gallery at Western Washington University in Bellingham.  We will tour the exhibit and then attend Professor Sieko Purdue's workshop: "Contemporary Shibori" from 1:30 - 3:30 PM.

This exhibit brings together some of the most innovative artists melding fiber and technology, including Suzi Webster, Maggie Orth, and Barbara Layne.

Come explore some of the cutting edge artistry of the fiber world.

Material Fee: $15.  Bring cash or your checkbook as we will be paying Dr. Purdue directly.

 Be sure to register early so that we can organize carpools for the trip and plans for lunch and dinner. Please meet at BARN no later than 8 AM.  We will be taking the 8:45 AM Ferry to Seattle and driving to Bellingham via Interstate 5.  Anticipate a 2.5 - 3 hour trip each way.   We should be back to Bainbridge mid-evening.
