During the month of May, we will be holding some 'shakedown' workshops/gatherings to troubleshoot any challenges we need to address in our new BARN Fiber Studio space.  

You will be our partners in 'test driving' the new space and helping us identify things we can do to make the workshop experience as positive as possible. You will be able to attend the workshops for free and only pay material fees.

We are very excited about Kathy Mack's Primrose Pincushion Workshop:

Inspired by the colorful primrose, this simple to make mini-pincushion is a perfect companion for hand sewing  and embroidery projects. All supplies are included in the materials fee. Bring yourself and enjoy a morning of relaxing creative expression with needle and thread.

Instructor: Kathy Mack is a Bainbridge Island quilter and sewist exploring color, pattern and texture through the practice of fiber arts. Her art is characterized by vibrant colors, contrasting shapes, and bold compositions. Kathy’s work expresses love and joy from her heart. A passion that fuels her creative process and ultimately her finished works. She especially enjoys sharing her sewing knowledge and experience with others in the classroom and through participation in community groups.

Material Fees: $10 (cash or please make checks out to BARN)

• 100% Wool Felt for Leaves

• Beads, buttons, and embroidery thread for embellishment
