About

Creating original drafts for weaving and exploring treadling variations is exciting but knowing what your pattern will look like can be a challenge and graph paper is slow and cumbersome!

In this workshop, participants will get a jump start on using the PCW Fiberworks weaving software application and learn how to use it to develop drafts, add color, and more.

Students will use the most current version of PCW Fiberworks Silver.  Participants must bring their own computer (Note: PCW Fiberworks requires the use of a mouse and tablets are not suitable).

For people who have not purchased the software, the demo version of the software may be used for this quick start workshop.  (Note:  The demo version does not allow the ability to print, copy, or save drafts.  However, it is an excellent way to determine if designing with software makes sense for you).

This workshop includes presentation, discussion, and hands-on exercises.

Materials fee - $15 for workshop notebook will be added to the price of class when you register.  Members: $20+15=$35. Non-Members: $40+15=$55.

Skill Level: Universal, all skill levels welcome

Ages: Ages 14+ Welcome.
