About

A major mission of the Fiber Arts Studio is our community service.  We identify community projects that could use our help and organize gatherings to use our fiber skills to address those community needs.  In the past we have knit hats and leggings for premature babies in Uganda, made delightful pillowcases and shopping bags for Seattle Cancer Care Alliance patients living in the Pete Gross House, made camera bags for students, and more.

We are holding a Community Service planning meeting Wednesday, October 18th at 7 PM to organize a committee and start planning community service projects for the remainder of 2017 and for 2018.
