About

Welcome back to Fiber Arts' Open Studios. We are starting with a limited open studio schedule. The studio monitor will train you on our new safety protocols. You will need to register for the open studio, as we have a set number of artisans that can be in the studio at one time.

BARN will be practicing safety measures for the health and well-being of all participants, in accordance with state and CDC guidelines. Everyone using the studio will be required to wear masks, wash or sanitize hands frequently, maintain a distance of six feet between individuals, and stay home if they are sick. Please review our safety protocols before registering. You will find the links in the "Important Details" section below.

You are welcome to attend the fiber arts open studios, regardless of the type of fiber project you have in mind. Each session will have a monitor on hand to answer questions. All of the studio equipment is open to use, but due to the limitations of only two hours per week of studio time, you might bring project that either fit in that time frame or that  you can take home and work on.  We hope to expand the sessions as we evaluate the demand.

We are excited to see what folks have been working on, so feel free to share your projects, it might inspire others.

Important Details:

  • You must register. No drop-ins please.
  • Please read the Fiber Arts Studio specific safety protocols here.
  • BARN-wide safety protocols can be found here.
  • Sign up on the waitlist if this open studio has booked up. If someone cancels, we will notify you via email that a slot has opened up.
  • There is a possibility that an open studio may be canceled if Kitsap County has an uptick in Coronavirus cases. You will be notified via email should we need to cancel.
  • If you have questions, please email Fiber Arts program coordinator, Catherine Camp at fiber.programming@bainbridgebarn.org.
