Enter the wonderful world of fiber spinning.  

 In this class you will: 

• Learn the anatomy and physiology of a spinning wheel;
  
• Learn preparation of fleece for spinning;
• Learn two types of basic spinning techniques;
• Practice in spinning on the wheel;
• Learn plying of finished yarn.
  

• Spinning wheels will be available for students to use.
  
• There will be a materials fee of $35 added when you register.
• Skill Level:   Universal.  All skill levels welcome.
  
• Ages: This class is open to kids 10 and older. Parents are welcome to join their children but is not required. A permission form is required. Please bring this permission slip to the first day of class.
• Please bring socks to wear.
• Bring a bag lunch. We have a refrigerator for people to store their lunches and drinks!

Instructor: Sandy Hall has been spinning and knitting for over 40 years. She initiated our spinning community in the Fiber Arts Studio.  As an occupational therapist and special education, she has taught variety of classes with appreciation of the select learning styles. She will be ably assisted by Terry Winer, a longtime, superb spinner.
