Creating a Canvas Mat with Lynette Sandbloom

Here is your chance to create your very own canvas mat with Lynnette Sandbloom. Lynnette has been creating these beautiful canvas mats for years and will provide you with a primed and hemmed canvas mat to work on, as well as instructions for making future mats. Bring your own idea, such as a pattern, image, words, or any combination of these and she will guide you through the process from beginning to a finished piece ready to place in your home or to give as a special gift.

This class is suitable for beginners.

There is a materials fee of $65.  **The teacher will supply primed canvas mat (24" x 36", and printed instructions for creating in the future), decorative paper, some fabric, variety of paint colors, 2" foam brushes, tracing paper, and finishing materials.

Wear an apron/shirt and/or clothes for painting.

INSTRUCTOR:

Lynnette Sandbloom has lectured about making floor mat making throughout the United States. She is an experienced teacher. As an artist, Lynnette is represented by Bainbridge Arts and Crafts. Her fabric designs have sold worldwide. Lynnette and business partner, Laura Jones, have been designing quilt patterns since 2004.
