About

canceled during meeting on 6/3 by Joanna.~tt

We’ve got one of the best Father’s Day experiences for you in the BARN Kitchen.  Join us for a summer solstice evening of BBQ and celebration. Chef Marcela Sandoval will be sharing one of her favorite summer recipes of Beef Bulgogi, the classic Korean dish that makes the perfect family BBQ fare. Participants will be chopping, dicing and julienning vegetables to be served along with grilled beef, so some knife skills are required for this class.  Techniques to barbequing will be shared as well as how to develop flavors and skills to be used again and again. We will spend the evening preparing, cooking and eating together.

Prerequisites:

A curious palate and a love of cooking. This is an intermediate class and basic knife and cooking skills are required.

Details:

  • BARN will be practicing safety measures. Students and instructor will be required to wear masks, wash or sanitize hands frequently, maintain a distance of six feet between individuals, and stay home if they are sick. More details can be found here.
  • To comply with WA State Health Department guidelines, please wear closed-toe shoes to class.
  • Tuition assistance is available. Click here to apply.
