About

**This workshop will be conducted via live streaming with Zoom.**

Ladder stitch is a fast and fun staple of bead weaving that is great for beginners.  In session one, basics of beading ~ setting up a space, tools needed and best practices for beaders ~ will be reviewed. You will learn the pattern of this basic stitch and use two different kinds of beads to create a beautiful beaded ladder that will be the foundation of a bracelet.

Students will reinforce and gain comfort with this pattern by continuing their ladder stitch bracelet to a chosen length during the week before the finishing class. Session two of exploring ladder stitch will begin with sharing personal successes and trials experienced to this point. Beaders will also learn and incorporate valuable embellishment technique to finish their bracelet as well as how to add a simple magnetic clasp.

Kits will include everything to make at least one bracelet. Students will need to supply scissors.
