Pamela Galvani is leading this exciting workshop on 'Hidden Opportunities: Stencils and Ghost Prints'. 

Participants will experiment with making and using stencils to both mask and reveal elements of a composition. With Pam's guidance, participants will also consider the possibilities for ghost prints becoming finished pieces.

This class assumes you have taken at least one previous printmaking class.

Participation in this workshop qualifies as one of the prerequisites for working solo in the BARN Print Studio.

• Prerequisite: you must have completed at least one previous printmaking class or workshop.
  
• Your participation in this workshop qualifies as one of the prerequisites for working on your own in the BARN Print Studio. 
• Feel free to bring a sack lunch and snacks; you can store and reheat food in the building kitchenette.
• A Materials Fee of $15 will be added to the class cost when you register which includes your first large sheet of print paper.
• Additional paper is available for purchase in the studio at $5/sheet payable with cash or check (made out to BARN).
  

About the Instructor

Primarily a printmaker today, Pamela Galvani has been a calligrapher for the past 40 years, incorporating gestural marks into her work. Before moving to the Pacific Northwest twenty-five years ago, Pam Galvani and her family lived in many parts of the United States; travel has thus played a major role in expanding her understanding of how art holds meaning across cultures.
