About

The Making of an Amazing LED Light Display

This free event for the community is all about the making of an LED light display made by one of our members, Kelly Franznick, for his company's new office space in downtown Seattle. Many of the components were made in ETA. See animation by clicking Kelly-Light-Display.MOV

This project made use of 3D printers, the laser cutter, soldering station and involves nifty design elements and electronics.

Come find out how he made it, what worked, how many reels of 3D printer filament he used, what he learned along the way and what he would do differently.

Free for members and non-members. Please register so that we know how many to expect and can set up accordingly.

Speaker: Kelly Franznick has a background in product design and enjoys making things and pushing technology to its limits. He has taught design at the University of Washington and Lake Washington Tech.
