Title: How to be a Maker in the World of Digital Audio, Podcasting & Internet Streaming

Description:  Podcasting is growing in popularity, and internet streaming is more popular on mobile devices than terrestrial AM-FM radio. In this talk, Barry Peters will introduce you to digital audio, podcasts, and streaming. Barry is a BARN member and manager of the new Bainbridge community internet radio station, BCB. He'll introduce you to the theory and practice of digital audio and podcasting. He will show how simple it is to make your own digital audio voice recordings and podcasts, either with no purchases, or less than $100 of audio equipment. Barry's examples will generally be on the Mac OS, but the discussion is also relevant to other platforms.
