Do you have a circuit on a breadboard that you want to make more permanent? Have you ever wondered what it takes to get your own PCB (Printed Circuit Board) made?

In this informal talk we will cover the process of making an electronic gadget from start to finish, using a pocket Geiger counter project as an example. In particular, we will look at what it takes to design a PCB using the free software package KiCad, and submit it for fabrication.
