About
Jennifer Moore, a national leader in weaving, will guide you through a variety of double weave structures for the first three days. After we bid farewell to Jennifer, you'll have two more days to complete the full round robin of all the weaving structures. You will leave with your own samples from each loom.
You will weave samples and study the theory behind a variety of structures such as:
-
Four-shaft structures:
- Four-color block rotation
- Double-block layer exchange
- Tubular log cabin
- Overshot-patterned double weave
-
Eight-shaft structures:
- Four-layer configurations
- Double-width twill cloth
- Invisible stitching
- Decorative stitching
- Two-block checkerboard
- Two-block windows
- Twill pick-up
