To kick off our new Design Series, you are invited to enjoy an hour & a half with fiber artist, Julie Shryock who will be demonstrating how you can experiment with color to create dynamic striping sequences in your future glass projects!  Participants will briefly ponder a 13th century mathematical question (see below). After this talk and demonstration you will be able to create stripes that POP!  

Bring colored pencils or crayons plus a pencil and eraser. 

Remember to wear close-toed shoes & long pants in the Glass Studio at all times! This is a strictly enforced safety policy. Thank you.

The Monitored Glass Arts Open Studio held Thursday, September 27th, and Saturday the 29th is Tobi S. Then on Monday, October 1 and Thursday, October 4, Anne M. will be monitor (their work is pictured here). They will be on hand to guide you through your own Fibonacci glass art project. Please note that the Monitored Open Studio is not a class with formal direction. It is intended for those intermediate glass arts students who would like additional guidance while they work on their projects.
