Design and create your own objects or parts using 3D CAD software and export them so they are ready for 3D printing.

The class will use Autodesk Fusion 360, a cloud-based product available for both Mac and PC. Topics will include the 3D printing workflow, introduction to the Fusion 360 user interface, and basics of solid modeling. Students will complete a simple model that will be ready for printing on BARN's Ultimaker or through an online service.

• Basic computer skills are expected for this class.

• Bring a current-generation laptop (Windows or Mac), or email ETA@bainbridgebarn.org if you do not have a laptop and need to borrow one for this class.

Instructor: Kelly Franznick has a background in product design and enjoys making things and pushing technology to its limits. He has taught design at the University of Washington and Lake Washington Tech.
