About

Join Isobel Coney who many know for her incredible jeans-repurposing entry at the 2022 Trashion Show, and whose work is shown at Bainbridge Arts & Crafts.

Start this class with repurposing a pair of jeans - get out your scissors, cut off the pockets and pant legs, and invent yourself a tote bag … or whatever you’re inspired to create! You can use hand-stitching, patchwork, and other techniques for embellishing your creation.

If you’ve got old, clean jeans at home, bring them along to use yourself and share with the class. Any color or weight of denim will work wonderfully for this class, and family and friends are welcome to contribute, too! No worries if you don’t have denim to offer up—BARN has an ample collection of donated denim that you’re free to use, along with any embellishment supplies in the Fiber Studio.
