In this class the print maker will be able to create monoprints (1 of a kind prints) using the technique of layering hand cut paper stencils. The student will create their own stencils and print the shapes on a plexiglass plate with etching inks using the Takach press. These abstract layered prints will have depth and reveal surprises.

Details:

• This is an all levels class.
• Tuition assistance is available. Click here to apply.  
• A materials fee of $15 is included in the price of class. Materials fee is for stencils, ink, and student grade printing paper.
• Professional grade paper is available for purchase in the studio. Please bring cash or check made out to BARN.
• Some printmaking helpful, but not required, i.e. ink mixing and cleanup, familiarity with the press.
