This class will be rescheduled for later in the year.

Build a classic cedar garden bench as you expand your woodworking skills and learn to use the  mortising machine and other professional-caliber tools in BARN's new woodworking studio.

You will learn how to mill rough lumber into the non-standard-size parts needed for this project, cut the joints, and create smooth curves on several parts. Engraving the top rail, as shown in the picture, will not be part of the project.

Details:

• Class is open to students certified at the BARN studio to use the table saw, chop saw, band saw, drill press and router. This can be accomplished via the Woodshop's open studio sessions, which are listed on the calendar. Students must also attend our free, one-hour Orientation to the Woodshop class. Multiple sessions are listed on the calendar.
  
• A materials fee of $150 is payable to the instructor at the class.
