Beveled glass diamonds and small glass nuggets are combined to create an eye-catching snowflake that will sparkle in the light. 

This class is a beginning level copper foil class with no glass cutting involved.  Students will learn to wrap the glass elements with an adhesive backed copper foil, tin the foil and then solder the pieces together into a snowflake approximately 6 inches in diameter. A loop will be soldered to the star for hanging in time for the holidays.

Details:

• The material fee covers all materials and equipment required to make the star. 
• Students need only bring an apron and a garden glove for their dominant hand for use while soldering.
• While working with soldering irons, we request you wear cotton or other natural fiber clothing. 
• Bring a lunch or snack if you want to take a break during class. A refrigerator and microwave is available on site.

Instructor: 
Pat Chase of Ponygal Productions is a 20+ year crafter, teacher and designer of stained glass.  Her teaching style is to patiently guide and not “rule” so that others feel her passion for this art and enjoy creating for themselves and others.  Pat currently works and teaches out of her home in Port Hadlock.
