We will team up, work through a few recipes, and spend time tasting something new. Buy your book, share your thoughts, or just come ready to cook. Join us on the second Sundays of the months for sharing and cooking with BARN's Kitchen Arts community.

For May, join us for Korean American: Food That Tastes Like Home by Eric Kim. Kim’s first cookbook is a treasure trove of delightful, insightful stories and recipes that reflect his growing up the son of Korean immigrants in Atlanta, Georgia. A New York Times staff writer, he discusses and demonstrates his prowess in melding traditional Korean pantry essentials with comforting American classics. His touching and well-crafted essays paired with the extraordinary photography of Jenny Huang make for a unique and remarkable culinary journey.

We will make and eat these unique and very tasty dishes:

• Maple-Candied Spam (ready for tasting upon arrival)
• Bacon-Fat Kimchi Jeon
• Doenjang Jjigae
• Sheet Pan Japchae
• Chewy Black Sesame Cake

• A $20 materials fee, included in the cost of the class, covers everything you'll need.
