Learn the pie-making secrets behind the famous peach, apple, mixed berry, and "newcomer" strawberry-rhubarb pies of Squeaky Wheels' “Bike for Pie.”
Volunteers will be baking nearly 80 fruit pies for Bainbridge Island’s Bike for Pie bicycle ride. The pastry recipe was crafted with the help of Chef Tamas Ronyai, and all our pie filling is made with fresh fruit.
On the first day, we'll prepare fruit fillings and pastry dough. On the second day, we'll roll out the dough and then build, decorate, and bake the pies. You'll get to take home a pie!
