Does the heat of the summer have you longing for something cool and refreshing for lunch?  Want to know an easy and delicious way to convert those ripe tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers into a tasty gazpacho?  Join us in the BARN kitchen while we prepare a cool batch of Spanish gazpacho loaded with fresh veggies emulsified with olive oil.  There will be a demo along with “hands on” element to get a feel for the process and be able to replicate it at home with your own garden veggies and a little BARN mojo.  Bring your apron, curiosity and appetite as we will sample the final product. 

Appropriate for all skill levels – some vegetable prep (coarse chopping) is the only skill needed.

There will be an additional materials fee of $8.00, which will be added to the cost of the class when you register.

About the Instructor:

Myra Zocher will be leading the class with a tried and true recipe that is sure to please. Myra is a local resident with her own craft baking business - A Woman Sconed, which is distributed locally and produced here at BARN.  She is a self-taught all-around kitchen wizard, with emphasis on local and fresh ingredients and simple preparation.
