The square knot is timeless. It speaks of the sea and the ties that bind. Wear it to express love for yourself, your art, a lucky person, or all these precious things at once. Plus you get to do metal magic, because using metal glue (aka solder) to stick metal together? Totally magic! If you have never used a torch before, this is an excellent class to start with. The instructor will be with you every step of the way. All materials and tools provide. Bring nothing – go home with new jewelry. Have a blast in the process!

Beginners welcome!

INSTRUCTOR:  Professional jewelry artist Julia Lowther was raised in Monteverde, Costa Rica and has been teaching jewelry making nationally and internationally for more than 15 years. An active member of the vibrant Pacific Northwest metals community, she has studied and worked with many internationally recognized jewelry artists, including Mary Hu, Komelia Okim, Doug Harling, and Megan Corwin. Lowther's jewelry is comfortable, chic and stunning. Her work has been published most recently in the books 500 Gemstone Jewels; Chain Mail Jewelry; Wrap, Stitch, Fold & Rivet; and Art Jewelry Today 3. She lives and works in Seattle, WA.
