About

Please join us on Wednesday, October 17th for a special seminar on charitable planned giving. This event is open to the public.

Planned giving can do two things, lower taxes and trade a gift for income. It is sometimes referred to as gift planning or legacy giving. Some planned gifts provide life-long income to donor. Other gift plans use estate and tax planning to provide for charity and heirs in ways that maximize the gift and/or minimize its impact on the donor’s estate.

Planned giving allows for a donor to have a more meaningful impact with their gifts and potentially reduce unnecessary taxes.

Topics to be discussed include:

  • The opportunity of charitable IRA distributions
  • How the new 2018 tax law makes PLANNED GIVING more powerful
  • Gifts of appreciated assets
  • Income from gifts of appreciated assets
  • The new power of bunching charitable deductions
