Here's your opportunity to celebrate your favorite letter (or single-digit number) by casting it in glass!  We've designed this offering to collaborate with our mosaic table class on Sunday, July 14, if you choose. 

In this class you'll create a fusible form in which you'll cast a seven-inch-tall letter or number using various colors and sizes of chunks of glass to melt. The finished piece could be part of your design for the mosaic table class. Not taking the table class? No worries! You can create a free-standing sculpture, or display or frame the letter in metal or wood.

Skill level: All. This is a great introduction to the Glass Studio, and glass casting. You'll learn about the various uses of fiber paper in kiln-casting and how to achieve proportion and clarity in the final result.
