About

This class date has been canceled. Please register for the Carousel Books class on July 19 by clicking here.
Join us in our 'Book of the Month' Club held the first Tuesday of the month. The Carousel book is the third in a series of evening workshops that feature a new structure for making books in each session.

In this third session, you'll be making a Carousel book. The first carousel books date from the late 1930’s. This format is related to the tunnel book, with several layers in each segment. The viewer usually looks into a window or frame at the front of each segment. These books are great fun to make and decorate, and you can use a variety of mark-making tools to add images and text. You'll leave with a complete carousel and instructions to make more.

There will be a Materials fee of $10 added to the cost of class when you register.

These classes are taught by a variety of instructors, and you can expect great ideas, excellent teaching and experience.

This class is being offered by MJ Linford.

This class series is also being offered in the afternoon on the 3rd Thursday of the month. Please see the Book Arts Studio Calendar.
