About
You don't have to be a member of a club to join us for our regular Book of the Month Club....we invite everyone to attend and learn new techniques and structures. This month, we'll explore the work of Hedi Kyle, a celebrated book artist. The structure we will be making is called a panorama book, and is an introduction to Hedi's unique style of making books. An accordion fold book with special cut-outs in the center allow the viewer to see elements of both sides of a single page at once. Templates and materials will be provided.
We'll start out the class with a simple way to add content to your book, and do some page decoration as well. A variety of supplies will be on hand.
Materials: There will be a $10 materials fee and we will supply most materials and supplies for you. If you have special papers or mark-making tools, you are welcome to bring them well marked with your name.
Skill Level: Beginning to advanced, although some bookbinding experience is helpful.
Ages: Ages 16+ welcome.
We have a refrigerator for people to store their food and drinks!
