Join us in our 'Book of the Month' Club held the third Thursday afternoon of the month. The Chinese Thread Book is the first in a series of afternoon workshops that feature a new structure for making books each time. 

In this first session, you'll be making a Chinese Thread Book (Zhen Xian Bao), a relatively new structure to the book arts, but a traditional craft to the Chinese. Using a variety of papers, we'll make a book with many small 'pockets' and trays to keep thread, or anything else you wish kept in an attractive case. We'll have colorful paper for you to make a model, and full instructions to make this at home as well.  

A Materials fee of $10 will be added when you register. 

These classes are taught by a variety of instructors, and you can expect great ideas, excellent teaching and experience.
