About

Silver Inlay in Wood

In this three-hour class, you’ll learn how to inlay silver wire into wood that’ll put striking details in your woodcraft projects. While the image illustrates this technique on a wooden knife handle, you can use it in any wood working project. Consider a silver inlay detail on a box lid, jewelry box, or picture frame. And of course, it works and looks great in knife handles!

This is a technique-based class. You will be provided with wood blanks, a length of square silver wire, and the steel tools needed for this detailed work. By the end of the evening, you’ll be full of information and creative juices flowing. Come in and have some fun and learn a new skill.
