About

BARN Member: $79
Non-member: $95

Wednesdays, Nov. 30 and Dec. 7 from 6 to 8:30 pm

Materials Fee: $68 (payable in class)

You have taken A-Z of Fused Glass or a previous fused glass class and are comfortable with cutting glass and your knowledge of the fused glass process. Now, you are ready to try out some other interesting techniques.

In this two-session workshop, you will create part sheets, cut them, and incorporate them into a swoop bowl or other bowl or plate.

Part sheets are custom sheets of art glass you will make by putting glass frit or stringers onto a single layer of glass. After they are fired, these unique sheets of glass will be cut up and used to create a beautiful, one-of-a-kind swoop bowl. It is likely you will have part sheets left over for another project.

Instructor: Teri Smith has worked with fused glass for over ten years, selling individual pieces, designing commission artwork, giving gifts, or decorating her own home.   Having joined BARN, Teri also enjoys taking jewelry classes and has written a published comic romantic mystery, Affection for Crime.
