Come and learn the skills to create quilts using wool fabric, embracing its rich texture and durability, and enhance your finished pieces with thoughtful embroidery that adds depth, detail, and a personalized artistic touch.

This is the second of a group of classes offered by Cleo, who will lead you through the colourful world of Wool Quilting. If you've never done a wool piece — a wall hanging or quilt, for example — with wool fabric, you're in for a treat. This class will cover:

• An easy-to-learn method that turns out beautiful artwork with no sewing machine needed.
• Easy embroidery stitches.
• A new way to do appliqué quilting. 

Relax and enjoy working with others to complete your project. You can continue to make a larger, unique, one-of-a-kind wall hanging. 

Materials

A $40 materials fee, included in the price of the class, covers hand-dyed and felted high-grade wool and thread and a pair of four-inch scissors.
