About

You will build a sturdy, two-step stepstool of solid wood and plywood. The project was specifically designed to give you experience with the most common stationary and portable tools in the woodshop:

• table saw
• band saw
• miter saw
• jointer
  
• planer
• drill press
• oscilating spindle sander
• router
• biscuit joiner
• hand drill
• impact driver
• random orbit sander

Details:

• In addition to the class fee, a materials fee of $30 to cover the wood, fasteners and shop supplies will be charged when you register and pay.
• Beginners are welcome, but please enroll in our three-hour Woodshop Tool Safety Checkout 1 class ahead of time. If the classes listed on the calendar are full, please email using this form and we will open a spot for you.
• If you want to take our full Beginning Woodworking series, you can take this class or Beginning Woodworking: Hand Tools in either order. Both classes are required to take Beginning Woodworking: Design & Build a Table.
