Students will learn the special techniques for weaving on frame looms with fabric strips. This class is a preparation class for the Intermediate Rag weaving class that follows this class. 

Please Note: This class is only for beginners who have had previous weaving experience (such as floor loom weaving, rigid heddle, tapestry, tablet, etc.).

Details:

• A materials fee of $15 is included in the price of class. The Fiber Arts Studio will provide looms and fabric. 
• Students need to bring: sharp pointy small scissors. gold tapestry needle, small screw driver, and tape measure. 
• Skill Level:  Students need to have weaving experience (such as floor loom weaving, rigid heddle, tapestry, tablet, etc.).
• Ages: Ages 14+ Welcome.

Instructor Bio: Caroline Cooley Browne is a much beloved artist on Bainbridge Island with her work being exhibited at the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art and art galleries in the region.  Students in her previous frame loom weaving classes have uniformly loved the workshops.
