This four session workshop is an introductory class that focuses on learning and practicing the basic skills of jewelry making. You will learn sawing, filing, hammering, joining, soldering, and simple stone setting. You will have the opportunity to complete several projects suitable for adornment or gifts .

This is a great class to take if it has been years since your last jewelry making class or just an opportunity to get to know the new Jewelry Studio at BARN.

There is an additional materials fee of $20 due on the first day of class. Please bring a check payable to BARN or cash to the first day of class.

Students may buy sterling silver in the jewelry studio if they wish for their projects. 

Instructor: Chris Stanley is a fourth generation artist/ craftsman who works in a variety of media. After working for many years as a professional model maker in both architectural and design fields, he went into education, teaching a wide variety of classes for the Art Institute of Seattle.
