First in the new series of beaded rope workshops, this gorgeous, spiraling piece is a wonderfully accessible and enjoyable project for beginning to advance beaders. Students will learn / review basics of bead weaving and discuss the foundation of traditional herringbone stitch and its adaptation into this beautiful spiraling cord. Variations on the basics will be explored to demonstrate the infinite variety of finished looks. Participants can choose to make a bracelet length rope or go for a longer necklace length and you will have the option to incorporate personal charms or focal pieces. Obsession is pretty much guaranteed!

• Registration for this class will close on Sunday, February 6th at 12:00pm so that kits can be assembled and mailed in a timely manner. Please verify your mailing address when you register. Requests for refunds or credits will not be accepted after February 6th.
• To register, please choose the color combination you would like to receive in your kit. There are 2 kits to choose from in each color for each registration category. Should available kits sell out in a registration category, please add your name to the waitlist for that color or choose another color.

Instructor Bio:

Chris Eisenberg discovered beading while recovering from an accident and the resulting traumatic brain injury.  Beading was intensive therapy for Chris and has been medically credited for helping restore significant brain function.  Chris holds a PhD in classical piano performance and opera direction from the University of Northern Colorado and is currently on the faculty at Central Washington University in Ellensburg WA as a performance coach and collaborator.  She has previously taught art workshops at the Autumn Artist Retreat and in the Iron Mountain Arts studio near Port Gamble.
