There is something quite magical about making something so wonderful out of little tiny beads!!!  This three dimensional piece is created by weaving ten small peyote stitched diamonds, joining them into the star shape which is filled with fluff and embellished with crystals.  This makes an extraordinary gift or heirloom ornament! Review of basic peyote stitch, intro to shaping and advanced techniques, other weaving tips, problem solving, finishing techniques and resources will also be discussed.  An open studio will be available for additional help.  Peyote stitch primer is suggested but not required.

A $15 material fee will be added to class fee when you register.

All levels welcome.

Teacher Bio: Chris Eisenberg discovered beading while recovering from an accident and the resulting traumatic brain injury. Beading was her therapy and she credits it for helping her become whole again. Chris has a doctorate in classical piano performance from the University of Northern Colorado and am a performance coach and collaborator at Central Washington University. She has previously taught workshops at the Autumn Artist Retreat and in the Iron Mountain Arts studio near Port Gamble. 
Students may bring lunch or go out.
