Do you have beach glass that you have saved for years? Join us in the Jewelry Studio and make it into jewelry.  We will wire wrap or grind holes in some, and set some in sheet sterling silver. You will learn to saw metal, use jeweler's pliers, and solder. This is a beginning and intermediate level class.

Bring your beach glass treasures as well as ceramic shards to the first class.  Also bring glasses so that you can see details 10 inches in front of your nose.  The studio has reading glasses to lend. 

There will be a Materials Fee of $20 added to the class cost when you register.


Bring a bag lunch if you would like. BARN has a refrigerator to store your lunch in.

Jane Martin has taught jewelry making at Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle, for the Seattle Metals Guild, and the Bainbridge Island park department. She is the Jewelry Department studio lead and her jewelry is shown at Facere Jewelry Art Gallery in Seattle.
