Book artist Jan Dove will share her work and lead a hands-on make-and-take activity. Free!
Noted book artist Jan Dove will present and discuss examples of her work, which feature rich layers that combine printmaking with embroidery, collage, and handmade papers. Jan will also lead the group in a hands-on make-and-take activity.
Instructor
Jan Dove holds an MFA in printmaking from the School of the Art Institute and has had a distinguished career as an artist, educator, and arts administrator, including work within the California State prison system. She is a recipient of numerous honors, including residencies at the Bloedel Reserve, Blue Mountain Center in New York, and Hypatia-in-the-Woods in Shelton, as well as a prestigious Artist Trust grant.
