Students in this class will work on projects of their choosing with instructor Jane Martin there to offer help as needed. She will teach how to set a stone, produce multiples, and refine designs for  personal expression. The necklace shown, made by Sandra Leese, is an example of the type of work that can be done in this class.

Students must be able to solder on their own for this level class.

The class fee covers four sessions, on consecutive Tuesdays, July 15 to Aug. 5. 

A $10 materials fee is payable to the instructor at the first class.

INSTRUCTOR: Jane Martin has a bachelor of fine arts degree from University of the Arts (Philadelphia College of Art) in Philadelphia, PA. She has taught jewelry making at Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle, for the Seattle Metals Guild, and the Bainbridge Island parks department. Her jewelry is shown at Facèré Jewelry Art Gallery in Seattle.
