Tapestry techniques for frame loom weaving expands on the basic and intermediate techniques learned in previous classes.  Techniques will include: weft color blocks and diagonal patterns.

Students will need to prepare their frame looms (warp and the first few rows of weft) prior to class. Frame looms are available in the Fiber Studio if needed.

Prerequisites  are Intermediate Frame Loom weaving Class, a previous frame loom class from Caroline Cooley Browne or teachers waiver.

Please bring to class if you have them: Floor Frame loom with 2-4 foot headers, favorite weaving hand tools such as chopsticks, hemostats, paint sticks, scissors, tapestry and sewing needles, tape measure.


Instructor Bio:
Caroline Cooley Browne is a much beloved artist on Bainbridge Island with her work being exhibited at the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art and art galleries in the region.  Students in her previous frame loom weaving classes have uniformly loved the the workshops. Caroline will be assisted by Constance Ducar, one of our very creative Fiber Arts Studio members.
