Instructor Bio:

Robin Hoerth was born in Ohio and has a B.F.A. in sculpture from Mount Saint Joseph University. Upon graduation she moved to Kingston, Washington to apprentice under Jennifer Caldwell-Umphress where she now makes her living as a glass artist. Robin has been drawn to art her whole life, first through two-dimensional practices then sculpture. She was drawn to glass because of its beauty, difficulty, and versatility. By reflecting on her own life she is able to create a narrative within the piece that creates a profound dialogue between complex compositions.
