Add a personal touch to your home or create the ultimate personalized gift. This fun class making a mosaic table is designed to work with our casting class (see "Details" below), but that class isn't required should you choose to create your own design.
Details
- Skill level: Beginners and advanced mosaic artists. No mosaic experience is required, but can be helpful.
- As a special feature, you can use a glass cast of a letter or number that you make in a separate class (Cast Your Letter, July 12, 3-6 PM) as a centerpiece for your table design.
Project
You'll make a 14-inch round mosaic-top table with a design of your choosing.
Materials
A $52 materials fee, included in the cost of this class, includes everything you need.
Class Policies
- Long pants and closed-toe shoes are required.
- Ages 14 and up are welcome.

Instructors or Guides
Barbara Henderson
Barbara is a mosaicist with a passion for helping others express themselves through the art of mosaics. She discovered art a little later in life than lots of other people, having been distracted by corporate life, ladder climbing, and the nonsense idea that she wasn’t creative. Now her favorite thing is to watch a student realize their unique ability to produce something personal and meaningful, and to develop their own artistic vision. Her favorite saying is that “perfection can be purchased at the Dollar Store. Art and beauty are found in the unique and flawed.” She serves on a variety of boards and committees and lives in Gig Harbor with her husband and far too many dogs and chickens.
