Create a story from prompts, then hone your story with editing guidance and literary devices for the first class meeting. Registration in the workshop includes a follow-up individual coaching session (to be scheduled) to support you in bringing your story to life in a performance before a public audience.

Maggie Mixsell

Maggie Mixsell received her master's degree in 1995 from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a directing emphasis. She currently teaches performance classes at Santa Barbara City College and offers private personal stories classes. For 16 years, she served as the artistic director of Speaking of Stories, a nonprofit bringing published stories to the stage with professional actors.
