Reading as a Writer: Analyzing the Short Story

What does it mean to “read as a writer?” In this workshop, we’ll take a look at a set of “linked” short stories by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Edward P. Jones. Along with close readings, we’ll weave in a few fun writing activities that will put our conversations into practice and give you tools to utilize in your own writing.
