Join Omid Roustaei, known as The Caspian Chef, for an engaging discussion about his new cookbook, "Bitter & Sweet: Global Flavors from an Iranian-American Kitchen."

Registration includes a copy of his beautiful cookbook, just published in February.

You'll get to sample Omid's delicious food, and discover his unique recipes and flavors that blend Iranian dishes and Persian traditions with global cuisines.

During the talk, Omid will share his cultural and culinary journey as an Iranian-American. Discover the inspiration behind the book, the flavors that shape his cooking, and the personal stories that bring it all to life. His book is both a culinary guide and an inspiring tribute to food’s ability to connect cultures and foster belonging.

Omid Roustaei

Omid Roustaei is an Iranian-American cookbook author and culinary instructor who has been deeply involved in the culinary world for more than 20 years. Born and raised in Tehran, he attended the School of Natural Cookery in Boulder, Colorado, where he studied the art of intuitive cooking. Omid now balances a career as a psychotherapist with his enthusiasm for teaching and writing. He shares Iranian culture and traditions through cooking and storytelling, using the power of food to foster connections and serve as a gentle form of advocacy and activism.
