About

Explore the beauty of the glass overlay technique. You'll learn how transparent glass can be layered to achieve a rich and satisfying pattern. You'll learn to create shifting colors and patterns using an opalescent base layer with a transparent tinted glass overlay. We'll be using Bullseye COE 90 glass to maximize the impact.

Tints alter color by overlaying and producing soft hues and create a rich and satisfying pattern. Extra glass can be used by the student to create a small dish either in class, if time, or in an Open Studio

This is for both beginners and experienced glass artists who want to create a beautiful, functional piece to take home. It also serves as a reference guide for mixing glass colors for future projects.

A materials fee of $70, included in the price of the class, covers everything you will need.

Teri Seidler

Teri's passion since early adulthood has been glass, which she laid to rest as a mother and a budding horticulturist with a nursery. But 36 glorious years later, she was introduced to fused glass and fell in love with the process, the selections of glass, and the endless projects one can do at home. Now she says there's an explosion of new glass, materials and information on glass fusing. The sky is the limit. She loves being in a class with other enthusiasts to exchange ideas and feel the camaraderie at BARN.
