About

This class is generously provided by the Bainbridge Island Fire Department as part of a community resilience series at BARN.

Help to make BARN and our community more prepared by knowing the basics of CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) use. Seconds count, and with your participation in this class we are all better prepared.

You'll learn proper CPR techniques. It will be a hands-on, compressions-only class. All participants (unless physically unable) will have time on the floor to practice their skills on a manikin.

You'll also learn when and how to use AEDs, many of which are located throughout the community. Two are located near the elevators at BARN, for example.
