About

Dive into the vibrant world of Indian cuisine as you learn to craft crispy, golden-brown vegetable pakoras — a beloved street food delicacy — flavorful fritters packed with an assortment of fresh vegetables and aromatic spices.

The adventure doesn't stop there! Elevate your pakoras with a trio of tantalizing chutneys, each bursting with unique flavor and texture. These versatile accompaniments perfectly complement your pakoras (and so much more!).

  • On the menu:
    • Verdant cilantro chutney
    • Sweet and savory tamarind chutney
    • Fiery garlic chili chutney

Whether you're a novice in the kitchen or a seasoned culinary enthusiast, you’ll learn something new. This is part of our Indian Cooking Series, designed to celebrate the rich diversity of Indian flavors and techniques.

Sandra Mehta

Sandra has been pursuing her passion for cooking for more than 30 years. Her interest in cooking was sparked as a teenager when she was assigned the job of sous chef in her family’s home kitchen. She didn’t know it at the time, but she was getting a rigorous and advanced education about what it means to prepare food, combine complex flavors, detect for "doneness," blend spices, and offer it all up in tantalizing and mouth-watering presentations. Sandra is excited to share her experience, skills, knowledge, heritage, and passion for cooking and entertaining with you at BARN!
