About

The first in a series planned by Peter C. Sprung, a Bainbridge Island sculptor and painter, as part of his "Artists Foment" project. This new initiative, supported by a grant from Arts & Humanities Bainbridge, will incubate regular meetings, presentations, dialogue, and collaborations among area artists. The project aims to encourage artists to make artwork collaboratively and develop spin-off projects that will amplify voices and promote community engagement and social action around concern for the environment, social justice, and diversity with the power of art.

Tommy Gregory is the public art program curator for the Port of Seattle, where he oversees commissions, acquisitions, and temporary art at Sea-Tac Airport. He also has an active studio practice that includes glass and bronze sculpture, collage and drawing. He has exhibited publicly across the U.S. for nearly 20 years.

Sean Hennessy is a mixed-media artist who specializes in glass and is co-founder of the Otis Street Arts Project, a creative arts incubator space near Washington, D.C. His work is in collections across the U.S. and he has contributed public art to the Library of Congress, the City of Baltimore, and the Howard Theater in Washington, D.C.
